Our rich Dutch cocoa powder has gone through a process of alkalisation (to decrease the acidity of the cocoa powder) which creates a beautiful darker colour, less bitter flavour and dissolves into liquid more easily. The Dutch cocoa powder is a superb dark reddish-brown colour. It is slightly more alkalised than our Dark Cocoa Powder and has a higher cocoa fat around 20 to 22% which gives a richer, smoother and more chocolatey flavour.
